Date: 2008
Services Provided: Geotechnical engineering, drilling, construction materials testing (C.M.T.) and quality control inspection services for construction of new 6-story 26,525 ft2 (footprint) medical office building. Geotechnical exploration services were performed to evaluate subsurface groundwater and soil conditions to provide recommendations for foundation and flexible pavement design. C.M.T. services included testing all soils, concrete, asphalt and structural steel. Monitored all concrete pours and structural steel erection as part of threshold inspection requirements.

Services Provided: Geotechnical engineering, drilling, C.M.T and quality control inspection services for addition of
1 ½ levels to existing parking garage, and adjacent (tied-in) construction of new 3 level parking garage. Geotechnical services included subsurface exploration for planned expansion to existing garage and foundation recommendations for new structure. C.M.T, quality control and threshold inspections were performed during the duration of the project. |

The footprint was approximately 55,500 square feet, consisting of first level retail space (with truck dock) and 2nd & 3rd levels as cast-in-place concrete parking structure. Vibro-replacement stone columns were installed. Firestopping was observed at all penetrations. |
